Our second flip, we turned this 1930’s 2,000 square foot home into a luxury 4,100 square foot cottage with 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, laundry room, mudroom, and absolutely dreamy scullery. We doubled the footprint and attached the two-car garage for a deceiving curbside appearance. While maintaining the original face of the house, by going back with the footprint, it’s one of those houses that just keep going once you are inside.

One aspect of the exterior that I was adamant about keeping was the courtyard. An original feature to the exterior, this exterior space I found to be so charming as well as a lovely place for a cocktail on a lovely spring day. But, you also have a covered porch in the backyard now as well! We took the exterior charm and brought it inside with the updates and leaned into that style with our design selections. This home is completely upgraded but feels like it has been here all along and will be here for years to come.
