There is a term floating around out there that will be trending in 2021, and that’s “cottagecore” which is defined on Wikipedia as
“that celebrates an idealised rural life and developed throughout the 2010s”
I personally love the cottage style in decor and furniture, but more of the individual pieces to bring a bit of it into your palette and concept. Some easy ways to do that are with pieces of furniture, vintage artwork and lighting. By mixing those details with more traditional or classic accents it can be complimented instead of overbearing.
